Southampton fans have seen a whole host of players leave over the last few years, and with that they have seen their bank balance soaring, especially with clubs like Liverpool willing to spend well over the odds for top South Coast talent.
Saints fans have already seen a few players come in to replace the departed this summer with Nathan Redmond, Pierre-Emille Hojbjerg, Jeremy Pied and Alex McCarthy all making the move to St Mary’s, however some of our red and white regulars are calling for some bigger names.
We may have some good news for them as local BBC Solent journalist and commentator, Adam Blackmore, has revealed that the new boss, Claude Puel has money to spend before the end of the window.

Saints have been linked with some exciting attacking talent in recent weeks with Sporting’s Islam Slimani, Croatian Marko Rog and Anderlecht’s Steven Defour all considered by the French manager.
