Celtic currently find themselves trailing in the race for the Scottish Premiership title after suffering defeat at the hands of Hibernian last time out.
The Hoops will still have their sights set on securing yet another treble in the current campaign, having already secured the Scottish League Cup, but they will need to seek improvements in order for this to happen.
Interestingly, one player that has defied expectations in the current campaign is Ryan Christie, having provided a number of valuable contributions in the final third.
But, with the 23-year-old still in the early days of his Celtic career, Brendan Rodgers will be looking to get the very best out of him as time goes on.
Celtic signed Ryan Christie from Inverness Caledonian Thistle for £500,000 back in the summer of 2015, and he has since gone on to establish himself as one of hottest topics in Scottish football.
Indeed, the midfielder currently has seven goals and four assists to his name in the current campaign, which includes the winning goal he scored against Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup final.
The 23-year-old has shown plenty of promise and has a bright future ahead of him, and he already has all the ingredients to become a future star of the game. The likes of James Forrest and Scott Brown are well on their way to becoming club legends, which is something that Christie will be hoping to achieve in his career.
Christie will have a huge part to play in the rest of the current campaign and has already provided valuable contributions, but there’re currently a couple of aspects missing from his game. So, Rodgers could pull off a masterstroke by turning the bargain gem into the next Celtic hero.
