Liverpool are going well in the Premier League right now and their fans here in the Tavern are impressed with how things are going at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp…
Despite his engaging personality and hilarious quips during interviews, the German boss has managed to turn the Reds into a well-oiled machine that is more than capable of winning games.
And after yet another impressive win this weekend, a 4-1 home triumph over Stoke City, thoughts are now turning to May and whether Liverpool could potentially be Premier League champions.
Of course, there is talk of it amongst the Reds fans here in the Tavern but with Chelsea playing so well, they’ve got some catching up to do.
And with January just around the corner, we think we’ve come up with a handy list of players that Liverpool should really be bringing in to help them get that title come the end of the campaign.
So with that in mind, here’s 3 transfer targets that Liverpool should be buying this month…
Christian Pulisic

He is the American forward that’s making waves for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and it’s clear that Christian Pulisic is going to have a very bright career indeed.
The 18-year-old, who plays as an attacking midfielder and a winger, has made 18 appearances for the first-team this year and is extremely highly regarded amongst the management and the supporters.
He’s going to be a pricey addition if he does join the club but his potential is astronomical.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

He’s slowly but surely coming back to his best and it’s good to see English winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain proving some of his doubters wrong as he picks up some form.
He’s struggled to really compete at the Emirates for a couple of years now but he now seems to be back in manager Arsene Wenger’s good books.
But we think he could be a really strong option for Liverpool on the flank, as they look to push for the Premier League crown going into the New Year. It’s going to be a long season at Anfield and having an option like Chamberlain in the squad would be absolutely fantastic for Jurgen Klopp.
Jese

He’s the one-time Real Madrid man that was once destined for a bright career at the Bernabeu but he’s somewhat fizzled out in the past couple of years.
He’s struggled to get regular game-time week-after-week for French giants PSG and it’s clear he needs a fresh start under a manager that really believes in what he’s doing.
Klopp is a fantastic man-manager and he could be the man to get the best out of Jese, should he make the move to Anfield.
