It’s time for Pulis to get rid of these 2 West Brom players this week

With January being the first transfer window since West Brom were taken over by Chinese business man, Guochuan Lai, our resident Baggies fans are very excited at the thought of potential new talent arriving at The Hawthorns this month.

However, in order to make room for these arrivals, with the club aiming for Europe this season – a few departures will be inevitable in order to balance the books.

Though manager Tony Pulis has done a typical Tony Pulis-esque job so far this season, our landlord predicts that some of the Baggies’ squad may well be looking over their shoulder waiting to be shown the door.

In an attempt to make room for potential new signings, our landlord has been thinking about who could be shipped out and, after speaking to our local Baggies punters, here are two players they’d like to see go in the coming week…

Saido Berahino

With Berahino’s contract up in the summer, our resident Baggies fans feel that it is time to cash in on the troubled talent.

A third contract offer since the summer is on the table for Berahino but with him still yet to put pen to paper, Berahino may well finally hold all the cards in order to force his way out of The Hawthorns.

Our landlord believes that if West Brom don’t get rid of Berahino for a fee this transfer window, they will be losing him for free in the summer.

Craig Gardner

Our resident Baggies’ fans in the Transfer Tavern are raising a glass to loyal servant, Craig Gardner, who would seem to be surplus to requirements at The Hawthorns.

With Darren Fletcher and Claudio Yacob being Tony Pulis’ first choice midfield pairing this season, Gardner hasn’t really had a sniff and many here feel he is no longer good enough to play in the Premier League – certainly not at the level West Brom are aiming for anyway.
