Never before, over two legs have we seen an English humbled by a European powerhouse quite so easily over two legs but after a 10-2 victory on aggregate, there’s been plenty of talk surrounding the future of Arsene Wenger.

He’s had one of the most prestigious managerial runs in English footballing history but with tempers at the Emirates at an all time high, it’s thought this could be the final year we saw Arsene Wenger in the dugout.

So moving forward, there’s been some serious speculation surrounding the Arsene managerial job, which could become vacant sooner rather than later.

Thierry Henry

He’s arguably the best we’ve ever seen at Arsenal over the years and there’s few that have pondered the return of Thierry Henry to the club, this time in a managerial capacity.

Of course, the former Gunners legend is working as a TV pundit and would have to complete coaching badges in the near future, if he wanted a shot at management but bringing cult heroes back to teams can work wonders.

Gunners fans are always appreciative to the work Henry put in whilst he played for the side, and would be undoubtedly delighted if he ever returned in a coaching/management capacity too.

Luis Enrique

Having announced his decision to leave Barcelona at the end of the campaign, there’s been hysteria in the pub as to whether the Spaniard might fancy a shot at the Premier league at the end of the season.

And with the pressure building on the shoulders of Arsene Wenger and other top clubs being seemingly secure with their current gaffers, could we see Enrique at the Emirates next season?

He’s been slowly working away at Everton and whilst you can’t say Ronald Koeman has delivered masses of silverware and success to the club, he’s certainly building something at the club.

The Everton fans here in the Tavern know that he might leave the club if a big side come in for him and if Arsenal do come knocking, you can’t imagine him saying no.

He’s tactically sound and commands respect thanks to one of the finest playing careers we’ve ever seen. so could he be the man to make Arsenal Champions League champions once again?
