Jurgen Klopp has implemented a system at Liverpool that works wonders for the Reds.
The 52-year-old has led the Anfield outfit to two Champions League finals, one of which they won, and they are now 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League – that is the biggest such margin in the division’s history. Arguably, he has done so without a number of superstars in the side, as you can tell with his midfield.

Until recently, Jordan Henderson was far from popular with some fans, whilst Georginio Wijnaldum was signed from a relegated Newcastle side in 2016. However, for the Reds they have been vital components of the side this term, with them having played the majority of league matches.

Liverpool legend John Barnes has praised the German’s philosophy, telling The Daily Mail that whilst Wijnaldum and Henderson may not be better than David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and even James Maddison and Jack Grealish, they work for the Reds.
For a number of reasons, though, the Reds fans are not happy with his comments – one fan even called it a “weird take“. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best reactions from the social media platform below:
Wijnaldum is a vastly superior midfielder than either Grealish or Maddison. Henderson is too. What is he talking about? I get the argument about fitting the system but Grealish and Maddison, come on John!
