Martin Jol is eyeing a move for 25-year old Colombian midfielder Carlos Sanchez from French side Valenciennes. The Cottagers are looking to the Colombian midfielder to add steel to their current squad, according to talkSport.
Sanchez, 25, currently plays for French side Valenciennes and is out of contract at the end of the season, making him available for a cut price deal this January. Jol feels that the Colombian can bring solidity to his midfield, with the likes of Dickson Etuthu and Steve Sidwell struggling to hit top form this season.
If Fulham are to get their man they will have to act fast as clubs such as Valencia, Sevilla and Udinese are all said to be interested in securing Sanchez’s signature.
