Whilst the Premier League may currently be on hiatus due to the pandemic sweeping its way across the planet, three-quarters of the campaign have already been played.
It is Liverpool who have set the standard so far this term. They have won 27 of their 29 games, and they also have a 25-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table – the biggest margin in the division’s history.
Several of their players have impressive, one of which is captain Jordan Henderson. His leadership has led their charge at the top, and he has even been tipped to win the Player of the Season award.
Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas, though, clearly doesn’t feel he has been that good at all, as he has omitted him from his Team of the Season so far, instead choosing Kevin de Bruyne, Rodri and Jack Grealish in midfield. His XI was shared by Twitter page Empire of the Kop, and it hasn’t gone down well with the supporters at all – one fan even called him a buffoon, whilst another says he hates Liverpool.
They have been reacting in their droves, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below…
He hates Liverpool. I’d love to see his predicted league table with his predictions. Liverpool would be mid table

The man wears a stud in his ear. His opinion is invalid.

That guy hasn’t got an igloo. He has been stealing a living for years.

Still bitter because he chose the bright lights rather than a football education in Liverpool, life choices and all that

Not surprising as he said we would lose pretty much every week.

Buffoon. JH should be captaining that team.

Should Henderson be in this team? Let us know in the comments!
