Juventus dropped their first points of the season on Saturday and supporters aren’t happy, to say the least.
Maurizio Sarri was in the dugout for the first time as Juve boss after pneumonia kept him from being on the touchline.
The Old Lady travelled to the Stadio Artemio Franchi to face a Fiorentina side who have had a torrid start to the season, despite bringing in 14 new players through the door in the transfer window (Transfermarkt).
Vincenzo Montella’s side had lost 4-3 to Napoli and 2-1 to Genoa in their opening two fixtures of the campaign and would surely have been fearing the worst when Juve came to town, however, a resolute performance saw Fiorentina keep a clean sheet and earn a point.
Juve have now dropped to third in the league behind Bologna on goal difference and are two points behind Inter, who have had a 100 per cent start to the new campaign under Antonio Conte.
Many fans lambasted Sarri for his managerial performance, slating the team selection and the lack of chances his side created.
