Juventus: Fans slam Sami Khedira on Twitter after Bayer Leverkusen victory

Some of the Juventus fans on Twitter have called for Sami Khedira to leave the club after he posted a message on the social media outlet following the game against Bayern Leverkusen.

I Bianconeri ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against the Bundesliga outfit on Tuesday night with goals from Gonzalo Higuain, Federico Bernardeschi and Cristiano Ronaldo to give them top spot of Group D in the Champions League (with goal difference separating them and Atletico Madrid).

Khedira played the majority of the game for Maurizio Sarri’s side in Turin before being substituted and replaced by Rodrigo Bentancur in the 73rd minute.

The Germany international had a solid game in the middle of the park for the Old Lady, having recorded one key pass, two tackles, two interceptions and one clearance as WhoScored gave him a match rating of 7.18.

However, it would seem as though the 32-year-old did not impress some of the Juventus fans on Twitter, as many of them called for him to leave the Allianz Stadium.
