Juventus: Sami Khedira gets barrage of abuse after Verona win

Many Juventus fans have not held back in their opinion on Sami Khedira, with the player getting absolutely slated.

Despite Khedira posting a pretty positive message as his side managed to get three points versus Verona, fans have called for the player to leave the team, get injured, sub himself and some things which aren’t appropriate for this article.

The German midfielder replaced Aaron Ramsey in the 61st minute after the Welshman scored a goal from outside of the box on his debut.

It wasn’t a glorious performance from Juve by any stretch, but they got the job done. Cristiano Ronaldo completed the comeback when he slotted home a penalty in the 49th minute, and the club had Gianluigi Buffon to thank with a late save on his second debut for the Old Lady.

While the abuse isn’t particularly justifiable, it hasn’t been the best of starts for the 2014 World Cup winner. So far, he has featured in all four games, but has only got an average of 6.54, according to WhoScored’s algorithm.
