Arsenal’s worries deepened over the weekend after they lost 3-1 to West Brom, and Gunners fans here in the Tavern are growing increasingly impatient over Arsene Wenger and his tenure at the club.

Tempers are high both on and off the field at the Emirates at the moment but it’s safe to say Arsene Wenger has never been more unsafe in his job at the club.

Arsenal punters here in the pub are angry with how things have been at the club for some time now but it seems like the West Brom game was the final straw for some.

The protests look like they’ll continue long into the summer and if Wenger does fight to live that long, things are going to get extremely tough for the Frenchman indeed.

But with the summer just around the corner, there are decisions to be made on the futures of a number of stars at the club and if he’s still in-charge, Wenger will have to do just that.

So armed with some advice from our more regular punters here in the bar, here’s THREE players Wenger has a big decision to make on this summer…

KEEP: Alexis Sanchez

Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez has once again been a huge player for the Gunners this season, but he’s quickly gone downhill in the opinion of some supporters here in the Tavern.

Smirking after goals were scored against the club isn’t the best way to endear yourselves to the club’s fans but at the end of the day, he’s one of the best players fans have seen at the Emirates in years.

He’s certainly a player Arsenal should endeavour to keep at the club this summer.

AXE: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

There’s something about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain that just doesn’t scream success at the club he’s now been with for six years.

He’s hit the back of the net just nine times during his tenure at the club and at times, he’s failed to deliver following his move from Southampton.

He was tipped as one of the brightest young players in years but he’s been extremely underwhelming over the past few years.

Gunners fans here in the pub think his time at the Emirates might be coming to an end.

KEEP: Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Arguably one of the brightest young talents we’ve seen come through the Emirates in years, utility man Ainsley Maitland-Niles has enjoyed a pretty successful debut season at the club.

Punters here in the pub have been seriously impressed by what they’ve seen at times from the youngster, and there’s little doubt he has the potential to go on and become a very big player at the club in years to come.

Certainly a player they should tie down on a long deal when the opportunity arises.
