The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern were delighted to have been handed Motherwell in the League Cup semi-finals last night.

Indeed, our local Light Blues now believe they are in with a shout of getting through to the final after being kept away from Celtic, who face Hibernian in late October.

One of the Motherwell players to have impressed our resident Gers so much was striker, Louis Moult. The 25-year-old bagged a stunner in the win over Aberdeen last night and has previously been linked with a move to Ibrox, though Hibs are believed to be keen on the player

Out of contract next summer, fans on Twitter have been urging Rangers to move for Moult, who could sign a pre-contract in the New Year.
