Klopp simply must utilise these 2 Liverpool players as impact subs

Liverpool have been the most exciting team in the Premier League this season.

In fact, since Klopp took over as Liverpool manager mid way through last season, Liverpool have scored more goals than any other side in the top division.

Whilst their defence is often still susceptible and sometimes suffer lapses in concentration, their attack tends to bail them out on a regular basis.

They face United in a crunch match tonight and if the Merseysiders are successful, they will move 6 points clear of their fiercest rivals.

Considering the form and performances, Liverpool come into this game as favourites but there’s no denying that United possess a lot of quality themselves and if underestimated, they can cause a lot of damage.

No matter what, it’s going to be an exciting and exhilarating match.

Mourinho doesn’t have a good record against Klopp and he will be absolutely desperate for that to change here.

However, the Liverpool players are live-wires and they won’t give the United players a moments rest.

As a result of their pressing game though, the players exert a lot of energy which is why the punters here at the tavern think that Klopp needs to utilise these TWO impact subs….

Danny Ings

When Danny Ings signed for Liverpool the early signs were promising.

He was young, strong and a good goalscorer.

He joined from Burnley, with whom he had just been relegated with despite scoring 11 Premier League goals for the clarets.

He scored two goals for Liverpool too in his first few months with the club before suffering an unfortunate anterior cruciate ligament injury during Jurgen Klopp’s first training session with the Reds.

He made his comeback in the final game of the season and is now on fringes of the first team, fighting his way back in.

It’s going to take a lot of hard work and dedication to fight his way back into the Liverpool starting XI but we have no doubt of his talents and think Klopp could use the natural goalscorer if Liverpool are ever chasing a game in the late stages.

Emre Can

Emre Can is a fantastic footballer but even he is struggling to get into this Liverpool team at the moment.

The reds are flourishing and look a real solid unit.

Can can play in either centre back or central defensive midfield, but Klavan and Lovren are performing well enough to keep their place at CB whilst Jordan Henderson has been wonderful so far this season at CDM.

Despite his place on the bench, Can still has a lot to offer Liverpool.

For one, he seems like the kind who could be a leader figure and someone who you would look up to in the dressing room.

But, as well as that, he still has a role to play for Klopp’s side because he’s the calm and composed head you want to turn to when seeing a game out.

The punters are absolutely sure of his ability and feel like Klopp should turn to him more often when holding on for narrow victories.
