Liverpool: Fans desperate to sign Kalidou Koulibaly

Liverpool’s defence currently looks like it does not need any more recruitment.

The back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson have been in fantastic form so far this campaign – the Reds have the best defence in the Premier League, and they have managed to keep a huge nine clean sheets in their last 12 games in the top tier – it is hard to see how they would be able to improve on that at the moment.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, though, they may well be looking to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. They say that the Reds have already made contact with the Serie A outfit for the Senegal international, who is currently 28 and worth £50.4m as per Transfermarkt.
