Kroenke should be telling Emery to scout these 2 World Cup stars for Arsenal’s rebuild

Arsenal fans here in the Tavern are excited to see what Unai Emery will bring to the table after experiencing a rather slow campaign under Arsene Wenger last time out.

Unai Emery will be looking to hit the ground running at the Emirates after taking over from Arsene Wenger, with many of our local residents expecting lots of silverware and success in the near future.

The Gunners have been busy in recent transfer windows and they will need to continue in this manner by bringing a couple of players to the club over the course of the summer.

Therefore, Stan Kroenke will be desperate for Emery to keep tabs on a couple of players at the World Cup later on this month. Indeed, the Gunners may be able to lure a couple of international stars to the club this summer, with their performances in the World Cup possibly catching the eye of Emery.

So without further ado, Kroenke should be telling Emery to scout these TWO World Cup stars…

Rodrigo

Rodrigo could lead the line for Spain this summer after being named in their 23-man squad for the World Cup later on this month.

The 27-year-old continues to work his magic over in Spain for current club Valencia, with 19 goals and seven assists to show for his efforts in the campaign just gone.

Arsenal already have the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alexandre Lacazette in their ranks, so adding Rodrigo to that already impressive attack could be huge when it comes to hunting for silverware and success next season.

Thomas Meunier

The Paris Saint-Germain defender has developed into one of the world’s best attacking full-backs during his time in the French capital. So, it comes as no surprise that he was included in Belgium’s 23-man squad for the World Cup later on this month after another successful season.

Indeed, the 26-year-old loves to attack and take on the opposition down the right-hand flank, with quality delivery into the box being a guarantee.

So, with Hector Bellerin struggling to ensure defensive solidity and consistency at times, perhaps Unai Emery will look to sure up his defence by bringing the Belgian international to the Emirates this summer.
