The Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern have been having a Poch love-in as he became their longest-serving manager in Premier League history at the same time as he ended Spurs 28-year run without a win at Stamford Bridge. The 3-1 win courtesy of goals from Christian Eriksen and a Dele Alli double have had Spurs fans admiring how far their club has come under the Argentine.

Pochettino is currently enjoying his fourth season in charge at Tottenham and the fans wouldn’t swap him for any manager in the world at the moment. Pochettino has worked wonders in N17. The club has gone from being a side fighting and failing to finish in the top four to being one of England’s most feared sides as he continues to grow the club’s stock both domestically and in Europe.
Tottenham announced themselves onto the world stage this season as they went toe-to-toe with Real Madrid and won, shocking fans all over the world. Despite the fact Spurs exited the Champions League at the hands of Juventus, there’s no doubting that the respect the club has gained from their European adventure this season will make them a feared side in Europe next season. The Lilywhites propping our bar up have had so much to celebrate over the last four years with Pochettino even though they’re yet to celebrate a trophy win, although if the Argentine tactician continues the way he’s going, trophies will be on their way to Spurs in the near future.

And he only spoke about the fans. Guys a legend and needs rewarding for what he has done with our Spurs. Given the fans something to be proud of again.
