The transfer window is certainly heating up and Gunners fans in the tavern are frantically biting their nails as they look to reignite themselves as strong title challengers this season. 

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal kicked off the campaign with a nerve-racking 4-3 triumph over Leicester City, with signs suggesting the boss should primarily focus on his defensive squad, rather than up front.

Of course, the tavern’s Gunners fans is more than happy with the two pieces of business the club has completed so far; signing left-back Sead Kolašinac from Schalke and French hotshot Alexandre Lacazette – the latter has already opened up his Premier League account.

Saying that, Arsenal don’t have much time left and fears are that the North London outfit will not be able to complete with the likes of fellow capital sides Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as both Manchester clubs.

Considering there is less than two weeks until the summer window slams shut, the Gunners must tie up deals for these TWO players…..

Thomas Lemar

With Alexis Sanchez’s future at the club in jeopardy, Wenger should really consider his options in the front three and a summer-long pursuit of Monaco starlet Thomas Lemar needs to turn into a signing before the window closes.

The Frenchman played an integral role in his side’s Ligue 1 championship and his hard work has gained him recognition from across the continent.

At 21-years-old, fans by the bar think he’s a prosperous long-term prospective for Arsenal and could link perfectly with his fellow countrymen up front; Olivier Giroud and Alexandre Lacazette.

However, the clock is ticking and it’s a deal the club need to get sorted as soon as possible or face having to wait until January before snapping up Lemar’s services.

Steven N’Zonzi

Many Arsenal fans, including the tavern’s bar man, would agree that the Gunners lack a reliable, consistent holding midfielder who can do the dirty work to relieve the pressure on the attacking players.

Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny have all seemingly done good jobs, but nothing else, and Arsene Wenger desperately needs someone to slot perfectly into that role.

Which is why the supporters in the tavern have suggested Arsenal agree a deal to sign Sevilla man Steven N’Zonzi, who has stunned the Spanish leagues since joining the club from Stoke City.

Now having proved himself, it’s time to make that step up and really testify his ability with a switch to the Emirates, as well as that, it is a transfer that has to be completed imminently with less than two weeks until the window closes.
