West Ham United have satisfyingly followed suit with the majority of their Premier League rivals and added substance to their ranks, which has pleasantly delighted the Tavern’s Hammers supporters.
Manager Slaven Bilić has confidentially been backed by the owners as the four signings he’s made up to point have undeniably been superb, adding some much needed goal scoring finesse and the experience this enduring division demands.
Our West Ham-mad bar man is keen for the owners to continue splashing the cash and feels there is still a number of pivotal positions that should be reinforced between now and the end of the month when the summer transfer window closes.
Whilst I imagine Bilić still has targets up his sleeve, this business needs to be completed imminently as prices rise the closer we get to that deadline day, which is less than one month away.
The Hammers should move as soon as possible to seal a deal for at least one of these 3 players before the window slams shut….
Ryad Boudebouz

West Ham United have lacked that creative touch from their midfield since the heartbreaking exit of Dimitri Payet and it is certainly time for Bilić to re-find that link between midfield and attack.
With Javier Hernandez leading the line, the Tavern’s bar man is adamant the club should pursue target Ryad Boudebouz, who’s been linked with a move to the London Stadium in recent times by L’Equipe.
Another star coming out of France’s Ligue 1, the 27-year-old was one of the most efficient midfield engines across the Channel last term after accumulating eleven goals and nine assists for his employer, Montpellier.
Etienne Capoue

Fans by the bar have been suggesting their club needs a ‘no nonsense’ midfielder amid their hope of pushing fellow Premier League sides for a place in Europe, and they’d go a long way to completing that feat with the signature of Watford’s Etienne Capoue.
West Ham United could do with a not massively overwhelming signing whose work can go largely unnoticed and does the dirty stuff.
The 29-year-old’s unappreciated contribution to a game is what makes him such an exciting proposition for fans in the Tavern and may decisively determine the club’s league position, however, it needs to be sorted immediately.
Chris Smalling

If Slaven Bilić continued his impressive ambition at the London Stadium then a swoop for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling surely has to be on the radar, having fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
The ex-Fulham man is precisely what the West Ham fans in the Tavern want with the experience he can wholeheartedly offer to this aspiring Hammers squad, alongside the silverware he’s accumulated.
If the club want that one more ‘exciting’ addition before the window closes then Smalling has certainly got to be that player; a proven centre-back at this level and will solidify West Ham United’s somewhat leaky defence.
West Ham supporters, which of these three would you most want to be swooped up this summer by the club? Do you need a player for all these positions? Tell us your thoughts in the comment section below!
