Levy Negotiates For Cut Price Striker

Will Work For Food

I’ve got a bad feeling about this one.

As we told you in what is now last week of course, Spurs, the club on the cusp of Champions League football, have been caught shopping from the Football Supermarket’s. ‘Reduced to clear’ shelf.

The messages coming out of France are all pretty much the same. Loic Remy has played his last game for Nice and is very soon to announce which Premierhip club he will be playing for next season.

Stoke were deemed ‘unsuitable’ after talks between the player and the Potters. What went on is anyone’s guess, but mine would be that it was a money issue. The consequence of these discussions, it would appear, is that Nice have lowered their sights somewhat and are looking to place the player at a significantly reduced rate. One French source said, ‘Nice has a real need of money and it should be adaptable’.

The player is keen for a move citing Tottenham as an  ‘interesting’ option. Failing that it’s  somewhere, anywhere by the sound of things…

‘I want to go. I do not despair that an agreement will be reached by the end of August’.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
