It’s been a while since Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been in action for Liverpool. Indeed, he hasn’t been seen all season after suffering an injury last term, but it appears as though he’s finally edging closer to a return.
Of course, when you think of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a Liverpool shirt, you don’t just think of him running up and down the pitch. What he has perhaps become most known for is his link-up play with the Liverpool attack, with players like Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah linking up brilliantly with the Englishman last season.
He offers the perfect marriage between midfield and attack, and with his excellent pace, energy and range of passing, Oxlade-Chamberlain is undeniably one of Liverpool’s best players.
Indeed, his return will come as great news for Mohammed Salah, and it appears as though he and The Ox are working hard to rekindle their spark. Oxlade-Chamberlain recently shared an image of the pair working in training, with the caption ‘Getting back in sync’.
