Liverpool: Fans loved Andy Robertson’s comments on Thiago Alcantara

Liverpool are on the brink of finally signing major transfer target Thiago Alcantara.

According to a report from James Pearce, the Reds have officially made their move. Should everything go to plan, the midfielder will cost the Merseyside outfit a fee of €30m (£27.2m).

David Maddock further reported that Thiago could be in line to make his Liverpool debut as soon as next Thursday against Lincoln. Naturally, many fans are ecstatic over the news and cannot wait to see their potential new addition in red.

It’s not just the supporters who are excited, though. Andy Robertson has given his thoughts on the midfielder in a recent Football Daily video (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom).

“He is a fantastic player and would add to the quality of the squad,” the Scotland international said. “If we get him great, if we don’t it is what it is.

“We will wait and see until it’s confirmed and I can sit down and talk about his qualities.”
