Liverpool fans are loving Jamie Carragher’s latest comment

Few men are more popular at Anfield than Jamie Carragher. The Liverpool legend spent his entire career with the Reds, winning a number of trophies along the way.

Not many since have offered the same dedication and commitment to the cause that the Englishman provided, and whilst some today are more talented, nobody was more passionate.

Unsurprisingly, then, the former defender is as popular now with Liverpool fans as he was back then, and that’s been highlighted by the response to a recent comment from Carragher online.

Liverpool recently sent a message to Carragher on Twitter celebrating his birthday. However, he quickly responded with a humble request for some tickets to Liverpool’s away game with Bayern Munich, which takes place in early March.

Thanks @LFC any chance of 4 Bayern Munich away tickets as a prezzie??

This message didn’t go unnoticed, and it’s fair to say that it’s generated more than a few smiles online. Lots of Liverpool fans were quick to reply to Carragher’s message to the club, and they’re absolutely loving it.

Liverpool fans never forget a former player, and Carragher certainly has earned his place in history. See below:
