Liverpool fans are shocked as Lazar Markovic shows Klopp what he’s missing

Liverpool have made some fantastic signings over the last few seasons. Virgil van Dijk has changed everything at Anfield, whilst Mohammed Salah transformed the attack – and Alisson has finally solved the club’s goalkeeping woes.

However, it’s not always been this good. Over the years, the Reds have made more than a few transfer mistakes, and retrospectively, Lazar Markovic has to go down as one of the worst.

The attacker was brought in and expected to be a long-term option on the flanks for Liverpool, but it hasn’t worked out that way. He failed to make an impact during his first season at the club, and since then it’s all been downhill for him.

Now 24-years-old, Markovic has largely been banished from the first team at Liverpool, and he recently popped up in an under-23 game for the club.

He hasn’t played for the Reds all season, but he appeared to be out to prove a point for the under-23s, as he managed to bag a goal, as highlighted by the Liverpool Twitter page.

Of course, his goal generated a lot of talk from Liverpool fans online, with many taking to Twitter to reveal their shock. Lots can’t help but make a few jokes about his future at the club…
