Liverpool: Fans believe Jordan Henderson has become a Reds’ legend

These Liverpool fans believe that captain Jordan Henderson has become a legend at Anfield after the 2019/20 campaign.

The 29-year-old has led the team to three trophies in the space of eight months with the Champions League win in Madrid, the Super Cup triumph in Istanbul and Club World Cup glory in Doha. The Reds are also on the brink of lifting their first league title in 30 years after extending their lead at the top of the Premier League to 22 points.

It’s fair to say that Henderson has had an unbelievable season for the Merseyside club. With three goals this season, this equals his tally in the past three seasons combined (as per Whoscored) and has averaged a pass success rate of 84.7%. Former Red Steve McManaman was so impressed with his passing ability, that he compared him to the Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne, cited by the Daily Mail. Supporters believed that he stitched himself into the Anfield fabric and made their feelings clear on social media.
