Liverpool fans have showered captain Jordan Henderson with praise and claim he has been their best player this season.
This comes after the Reds easily saw off West Ham 2-0 at the London Stadium on Wednesday, with the England international pulling the strings in the midfield. Goals from Mohamed Salah and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain helped the Reds extend their lead to 19 points at the top of the Premier League ahead of Manchester City.
Henderson played a pivotal part in East London as Liverpool won their 23rd game of the campaign from 24 games. He made more passes than anyone else with 131, made three tackles, two key passes and had a pass completion rate of 94%, as per SofaScore. Supporters evaluated that he had been one of Jurgen Klopp’s most crucial assets and made their feelings clear on social media.
One fan believed that he is the best player that isn’t Virgil van Dijk. He added to that by stating that Henderson makes “world-class look normal”. Indeed, with that 94% pass completion rate, it was certainly a top performance from the Englishman.

I thought up until a month ago it was Mane, but I agree I think Hendo has overtaken him and if he carries this form on he definitely deserves player of the season.
