Whilst their remarkable comeback against Barcelona in last season’s Champions League will unlikely be forgotten in the future, a number of Liverpool fans were still reacting to footage of the win with the same immense pride and jubilation.
With no football currently being played, Twitter has continued to be a destination for many trying to get their sporting fix and old videos appear to be emerging more frequently to provide supporters with happier times and memories of their club.
Indeed, Anfield Watch shared a clip of Liverpool’s famous night against the Spanish giants in front of a full house and went on to pull off, arguably, one of the greatest comebacks in history, as per BBC Sport.
Divock Origi started the epic victory off early before Georginio Wijnaldum hit a quick-fire double in the second half. The Belgian then capitalised off some quick thinking from Trent Alexander-Arnold, as the full-back whipped in a corner kick when the Barcelona defence were not prepared to deal with it.

Upon reliving the remarkable night in May 2019, some of the Liverpool faithful took to Twitter to share their thoughts, with some going on to say it had continued to raise their hair and provide them with goosebumps.
