Liverpool fans can’t wait to have Naby Keita firing

When the news broke in summer 2017 that Naby Keita would be joining Liverpool ahead of the 2018/19 season, The Reds expected big things. The ex-RB Leipzig midfielder oozes and class and whilst Anfield is yet to see that, Sadio Mane has assured the fans that Keita will come good with his comments available to read on the Liverpool website.

Keita, much like his fellow Merseyside newcomer Fabinho, has struggled for game time early on in his Reds career, although a lot of that can be put down to injury. The Guinean midfielder has a Transfermarkt valuation just shy of £60 million and it’s easy to see why when you’ve seen some of the superb goals he netted in days in the Bundesliga. Now, though, it will be all about doing what he did in Germany on Merseyside.

At the age of just 23, Keita has so much time grow as a player and when you consider he was one of the best young talents in the Bundesliga with 17 goals in his 71 appearances for Leipzig. Jurgen Klopp will now be tasked with getting the very best out of his new midfielder, although when you considering his creative abilities it shouldn’t be long before he’s playing at his very best level with the likes of Mo Salah, Mane and Roberto Firmino in front of him.
