Yesterday evening saw a dramatic clash between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge as two of the Premier League’s three unbeaten sides came together. An Eden Hazard goal had The Blues 1-0 up before an amazing late Daniel Sturridge equaliser saw the Reds come back to draw 1-1. However, with 25 minutes to go, The Kopites were in up in arms when Jurgen Klopp hooked Mo Salah.

In the end, Klopp may have got this one right, but that didn’t stop the Liverpool fans having a go on Twitter when their number one goal threat, Mo Salah, was taken off for Xherdan Shaqiri. The Swiss attacker-turned-midfielder didn’t have much of an impact after he came on and instead it was another substitute who showed their worth when Sturridge unleashed a blinding effort past Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Chelsea net.
The travelling Liverpool support loved seeing their side salvage a late point and continue their unbeaten streak, however, if Mo Salah had been left on to play the full 90 minutes it could have been a different game. The Egyptian magician bagged himself a ludicrous 44 goals in all competitions so there’s never a situation where he can’t muster up a goal, leading to the Liverpool fans dismay at Klopp’s decision to substitute him.

Liverpool, fans weren’t pleased to see Klopp deny Salah the 90 minutes and will hope the attacker gets given the full game on Wednesday against Napoli.
