Liverpool fans have criticised midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum after his side’s 1-0 victory against Wolves on Sunday.
The 29-year-old was brought off in the 86th minute after playing a string of games in all competitions over the Christmas period for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

He made his 18th Premier League appearance of the current campaign and his 26th showing in all competitions.
Wijnaldum was guilty of losing some of his midfield battles against his opposite number, being on the wrong end of 16 out of 23 battles. He also lost out in 10 aerial battles and only made one successful dribble out of the three attempted (via FotMob).
Despite perhaps being tired given the amount of minutes he has played, supporters still criticised the Dutchman’s performance and made their feelings clear on social media.
