With a big game on the horizon against Manchester City, the Reds have many options to turn to if they are required to rotate personnel to prioritise their affair against the Citizens.

Fabinho is one yellow card away from a one-match suspension, which manager Jurgen Klopp will be taking into consideration.
The German manager’s favoured middle three has contained the Brazilian, alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson. As a result, the likes of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have not seen much Premier League action during the current campaign.

Ox, Gini and Hendo. Don’t risk Fab on that lot, tackles will be flying in tomorrow.

Gini holding, Henderson & Ox……can’t risk Fabinho getting a yellow and missing City

Not Fabinho, Not Fabinho & Not Fabinho.

Torn between playing Fab and saving him for Man City. Obviously need to win against Villla so our gap is as big as it can be before we play City.

I don’t think Klopp is the type of manager to not play a player because of yellow card accumulation and have his mind that far into next week’s game against City.

I really love Naby, but at what point do we label him as ‘injury prone’ and cut our losses? End of this season or see how he does next season?
