Liverpool: Fans do not want to see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain played on the wing again

Liverpool fans voiced their disapproval of the decision that manager Jurgen Klopp made to play Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the wing as opposed to his natural central role.

The England international, 26, has the ability to play out wide but is best known for being a significant threat in central midfield.

However, due to Klopp playing it safe with Mohamed Salah and leaving him on the bench, the German believed that he was best suited to the role.

He was brought off after 64 minutes as he lacked any form of threat to the Eagles’ backline and made way for Divock Origi, failing to complete any dribbles during the game and only had one shot that was blocked (via SofaScore).

Supporters are not too keen on the idea of seeing him playing out wide in the future and made their feelings clear on social media.
