Many Liverpool fans have been discussing the latest update involving Ben White that recently emerged on social media.
Journalist Kevin Palmer recently reported that Liverpool are looking to modify their transfer policy and spend on a central defender who has the experience of playing in English football. They are prepared to bolster their squad in January and one of the players that they are looking at is Ben White.
The report claims that while Jurgen Klopp’s men are interested in Dayot Upamecano and Ozan Kabak as well, bringing them in to initially get them used to playing in England isn’t a risk that the Reds are looking to take.

White is on the club’s shortlist for potential defensive options for January and the need for a new defender has been amplified by yet another injury suffered by Joel Matip in the club’s 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage against Fulham.
White has also been linked with a move to Liverpool’s fierce rivals Manchester United, but it has been reported that Brighton are ‘determined’ to keep the Englishman until the end of the current campaign (as per Manchester Evening News).
The news involving White’s links with an Anfield switch was relayed on Twitter by Anfield Edition. It drew the attention of many Liverpool fans, who began talking about the defender as one hailed him as a ‘baller’.
