Liverpool fans mocked former midfielder Philippe Coutinho after he is due to be sent back to Barcelona following an unsuccessful loan spell at Bayern Munich, according to reports.
The 27-year-old spent five-and-a-half seasons at Anfield before his £142m move to the Catalan giants in 2018, having scored 54 goals and provided 45 assists in 201 appearances for the Reds. He faced intense scrutiny in both Spain and Germany where he was accused of playing “like a youngster” (according to Besoccer) and “not doing enough” (as per the Mirror).

BILD reported that the Bundesliga behemoths were not impressed by Coutinho’s performances and will be sent back to Spain. So far, he has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 23 outings and his team sit four points behind RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga standings.
