Liverpool: Fans loved Opta statistic on Jordan Henderson

Liverpool fans have heaped praise on captain Jordan Henderson after a stat was revealed following his side’s 1-0 win against Wolves on Sunday.

The midfielder played a huge part as the Reds maintained their winning momentum, extending his team’s unbeaten run at Anfield to 50 games and with a 13-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

A goal from Sadio Mane was enough to see Jurgen Klopp’s side over the line as they finished the calendar year with just one defeat in the domestic league.

Opta revealed the following stat about Jordan Henderson after he reached a prestigious milestone in his Liverpool career.

Henderson arrived at the club in 2011 and captained his side as they won the Champions League in Madrid, the Super Cup in Istanbul and the Club World Cup in Doha, all in 2019.
