Liverpool fans in the tavern have been sceptical of recent reports emanating out of Spanish outlet Diaro Gol, that Real Madrid goalkeeper, Keylor Navas, has told teammate Cristiano Ronaldo of his desire to move to Liverpool in the summer. The Costa Rican shot-stopper has been linked away from the Spanish giants in recent years as Zidane’s side have attempted to bring Spaniard, David De Gea, to the club.

Liverpool have struggled recently with goalkeepers, current choices Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have come under scrutiny over the last few years for poor performances which has led fans to openly call for manager, Jurgen Klopp to bring in reinforcements between the sticks.
The £16.2 million ‘keeper, as rated by our friends over at Transfermarkt, shot himself into the public eye with a number of impressive performances at the 2014 World Cup, where the minnows reached the quarterfinals and were one of the few sides to finish the tournament without losing a game in 90 minutes. After impressing in Brazil, European heavyweights Real Madrid were convinced enough by Navas to pay the £9m needed to prise him from fellow Spanish side, Levante.
