Tomorrow sees Liverpool host PSG in the Champions League. The Reds open their campaign with a tough game against the French champions and both sides have won their first five games in their domestic campaign. The obvious threat in the PSG side is Neymar, but the Kopites aren’t worried as they have Trent Alexander-Arnold ready to pocket the Brazilian.

Alexander-Arnold made a name for himself in the Champions League last season. His stunning free-kick against Hoffenheim in the qualifying rounds was a sight to behold and after he pocketed Leroy Sane at Anfield and at The Etihad in the quarter-finals he was instilled as the first choice right-back at the club by Jurgen Klopp. Now, though, he will face one of the toughest tests of his Liverpool career to date.
Whilst the World Cup did Neymar no favours, there’s no doubting he is a top-level professional and there isn’t a fullback on the planet who he can’t turn inside and out when he’s at the top of his game. The 26-year-old has bagged four goals in his four league appearances this season and he’ll be keen to transfer his domestic form over to the Europan competition, starting with a big away day at Anfield.
