Another player who impressed in Lisbon last night was Thiago, with Liverpool fans especially pleased with his performance.
According to FotMob, the Spaniard made the most passes (75) and created the most chances (2) during the game, earning a Man of the Match rating of 8.0.
Kopites are discussing his Champions League success and whether his next chapter will see him sporting Liverpool red. One supporter has branded him as having the ‘perfect Champions League campaign’ whilst another has urged the club to ‘get the chequebook out’ and sign him up.
The Guardian has named Thiago’s latest asking price as €30million (£27.2m) but the Reds are reportedly stalling on paying that amount.
