Wins over Leicester and Wolves throughout the festive period stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League to 13 points, with a game in hand over their rivals.
They also completed a treble before closing out the year, winning the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup in 2019.
The form of midfielder Jordan Henderson has been a key factor in their unbelievable form thus far this season.
The skipper has already made 26 appearances this term, and has even filled in at centre-back after an injury crisis struck during the Club World Cup campaign.
His valuation currently sits at £31.5 million (Transfermarkt), but the leadership and experience he provides Jurgen Klopp’s side is invaluable.
