Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to the latest report on summer target Kai Havertz, as one source claims Jurgen Klopp will prioritise a move for the 20 year-old.
Last week, Reds fans were drooling over a report from The Express, which claimed that both they and Manchester United had held talks with Havertz’s representatives over a summer move.
The attacking midfielder enjoyed a stunning breakout campaign for Bayer Leverkusen last season, registering 17 Bundesliga goals, and now Mundo Deportivo claim the Reds are pushing hard for the youngster and are willing to shell out €125m (£107.1m) to secure his signature. He is also a Nike athlete, which could align with the company’s reported plans to secure a marquee signing in their first summer with the club.
While he hasn’t quite had the same success this campaign, mustering up just three goals in all competitions, his age and versatility – Whoscored note six different positions he has played already this season alone – mean he could be a project for Klopp to develop, perhaps even becoming his next ‘false nine’ like Roberto Firmino, as one fan noted he could be ‘moulded into whatever Klopp wants him to be’ and another claimed he is ‘amazing’ and ‘a pleasure to watch’.

I know people think €125 million is lot for Havertz but we should easily have the money, we brought £50 million in transfers last Summer, some big earners will be leaving this Summer, and with the increased revenue and Nike deal we should be able to afford it
