Lots of Liverpool fans have been reacting to some transfer news, as the Reds are reportedly interested in Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz.
According to The Express, both Manchester United and Liverpool are plotting a move for the German midfielder.
The report claims both clubs have held talks with his representatives, but that Leverkusen have placed a whopping €100m (£85.1m) price tag on the 20 year-old.
Liverpool fans have begged in the past to sign Havertz, with some even claiming he has the potential to become Roberto Firmino 2.0 due to his versatility in an attacking midfield position.
Per Transfermarkt, the youngster has already played as many as seven different positions in his career, including as a centre-forward and ‘second striker’, perhaps pointing to him as a future Firmino replacement.
This season, he has scored just three times in all competitions, but he enjoyed a stunning breakout campaign last term with 17 Bundesliga goals.
