Liverpool: Fans react to transfer links with Samuel Chukwueze

Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign Villarreal starlet Samuel Chukwueze, and it’s fair to say Reds fans are excited by the news.

According to Foot Mercato, Lyon are trying to sign the Nigerian speedster, but Liverpool have also entered the race.

A recent report from Goal claimed the Anfield outfit are finished their January business but are weighing up attacking players for the summer, and having been linked to Chukwueze in the past he could perhaps be on the agenda once this campaign ends.

Valued at £27m by Transfermarkt, the 22 year-old has the versatility to boost Jurgen Klopp’s options in several positions, as he is capable of playing on both flanks, up front or even in an attacking midfield position.

Per Transfermarkt, his most profitable position appears to be on the right flank, where he has grabbed 11 goals and five assists in 56 showings.
