Many Liverpool fans have roasted ‘keeper Loris Karius last night after he was seen making a shocking error in their Europa League match.
Karius, who is currently still contracted at Anfield despite not playing for the club since their Champions League final loss in Kiev, made a terrible error which put his current side Besiktas behind in their opening Europa League match.
The goalie made a complete misjudgement from a long ball from Slovan Bratislava, darting outside his box before not reaching the ball with his head, leaving striker Andraz Sporar with a free goal to slot the ball into.
It wasn’t just a shocking night for Karius, but a shocking night for Besiktas on the whole, losing to the Slovakian champions 4-2 in their opening match of the group stage.
For many Liverpool fans, they seemingly haven’t forgotten the mistakes of the 2018 Champions League final and did not hold back in giving their frank opinions of the German goalkeeper. There were a few who did feel a bit bad for their former number one and gave some condolences to him.
