Liverpool: Fans slam exit links for Divock Origi as Wolves revive 2019 interest

Lots of Liverpool fans have been reacting to a report from Wolves Bite, which claims Divock Origi is on Wolves’ transfer radar this month.

It’s quite clear Wolves fans are desperate for some January transfer action, as their squad has been stretched to its very limits due to their Europa League qualifying campaign, which started all the way back in July.

According to the report from Wolves Bite, the Molineux outfit remain interested in Origi, who they were linked with in January 2019. The report notes that their signings are more likely to come from abroad, but that Origi ‘could yet be a possibility’.

Unsurprisingly, Liverpool fans have simply laughed off the suggestion Origi could leave, given his cult hero status at the club. Indeed, the 24 year-old signed a new contract at Anfield last summer after scoring stoppage-time winners against Everton and Newcastle as well as iconic Champions League strikes against Barcelona and Tottenham, even prompting some fans to believe he has mythical powers that get opposing managers sacked.
