Loads of Liverpool fans have been heaping praise on Jordan Henderson, who filled in at the base of midfield for the injured Fabinho against Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Reds cruised past the Cherries 3-0 on Saturday afternoon, as Jurgen Klopp rotated his side once again.
After missing out on a start in the clash against Everton, Henderson was handed the nod as the deepest member of the midfield three, a role usually filled by Fabinho.
The Brazilian is of course out for considerable time with ankle ligament damage sustained in the draw with Napoli, but Henderson played so well that some fans are even saying he is better than the former Monaco man.
Indeed, the England international racked up an incredible 160 touches of the ball against Eddie Howe’s side, earning an assist and making two key passes and two tackles, per Whoscored.
Fans are full of praise for their skipper, as you can see in the Twitter reactions down below…

2 special goals there. Henderson’s been the best player on the pitch

For someone who can only pass backwards, Henderson can’t half ping a brilliant 60 yard through ball

Henderson is a better CDM than Fabinho #BOULIV #YNWA

Jordan Henderson has deputised for Fabinho really well in the last 2 games. He’s a tactically-intelligent player who’s also better technically than many will ever give him credit for. Won it back countless times today with tackles and great positioning & pinged it around for fun

Very good performance from Henderson, exactly what we need in Fabinho’s absence. #LFC
