Many Liverpool fans have been pleading for former Kop favourite Daniel Sturridge to return to Anfield.

Since March, the former England international has been a free agent and in a recent interview, Sturridge told The Beautiful Game Podcast that Liverpool was the perfect place for him.
He added that his sister dreamt that he would be playing his football in Merseyside, to which he initially described as “foolishness.”

With these comments in mind, these supporters took to Twitter to say that would be delighted to see Sturridge in return, with some feeling that he could do a job ahead of the unpopular Divock Origi.
