Many Liverpool fans have been left buzzing over some off-field news that has emerged.
As per the official website of the Anfield faithful, a deal has been agreed for Claudio Taffarel, a legendary goalkeeper with over 100 caps for Brazil, to join the Merseyside club’s first-team staff as a goalkeeping coach.
He will now join John Achterberg and Jack Robinson in working with the likes of Alisson Becker, Caoimhin Kelleher and Adrian at the AXA Training Centre after successfully obtaining a work permit.
Will Liverpool win the Champions League?
Taffarel had such an illustrious footballing career, in where he won so many accolades, including the FIFA World Cup in 1994 (Transfermarkt).
The new role presents a mouth-watering opportunity to work with fellow Brazilian Alisson, as well as hoping to improve his understudies.
