Liverpool: Fans accuse club of masking truth as images emerge

Many Liverpool fans believe that their club is trying to mask news concerning captain Jordan Henderson.

This feeling came from the January transfer deadline, where the Reds signed both Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies at the 11th hour – before revealing that Joel Matip would not play again this season due to an ankle injury.

Henderson limped off injured during his side’s 2-0 defeat to Everton on Sunday and there is a nervous wait on whether he will feature again during the 2020/21 campaign.

With the skipper’s fate yet to be announced, the club’s official Twitter account showed Virgil van Dijk back out on the training pitches for the first time since tearing his cruciate ligament back in October, which follow images of Diogo Jota back in action.

Because of this, supporters believed that the Merseysiders are playing the same card once more, preparing themselves for bad news in the wake of what appears to be all positive posts from the Reds’ Twitter account.
