A number of Liverpool supporters have been showing their delight at a positive injury update regarding Reds youngster Harvey Elliott.

Jurgen Klopp's side picked up an enormous 1-0 win away to Wolves on Saturday afternoon, with Divock Origi firing home a stoppage-time winner.

It was a huge moment in Liverpool's season and on top of that the Reds' injury problems are easing all the time, with Klopp afforded the luxury of naming an unchanged team at Molineux.

One player who is still sidelined is Elliott, however, after the 18-year-old suffered a lower leg fracture in the win at Leeds United back in September.

According to The Athletic's James Pearce [via LFC Transfer Room on Twitter], though, Elliott could return to training in January, acting as a major boost for Liverpool and the player himself.

It would of course ease concerns over the lack of depth when AFCON 2022 begins if Elliott could return to the XI as quickly as possible.
