Liverpool: Fans react to Jurgen Klopp’s comments about Philippe Coutinho

Many Liverpool fans have been talking about the latest comments that manager Jurgen Klopp has made about Philippe Coutinho.

Liverpool boss Klopp was recently talking about how the club managed to sign Fabinho from Monaco and he revealed Coutinho’s role in helping the club do that. The manager said that Roberto Firmino and Coutinho were crucial in their role to bring the former Monaco man to Anfield.

Klopp said that the 28-year-old Coutinho still loves Liverpool and these sort of things played a part in convincing their compatriot to join the Anfield-based side in the summer of 2018 for a fee of £43.7 million.

Coutinho had left Liverpool in the January of 2018, when he joined Barcelona. The Brazilian was then loaned out to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2019. He returned from his loan spell in the summer of 2020 and was linked with a move back to Liverpool.
